Somatic Cell Count Sensor for the Dairy Industry

En'Urga Inc. evaluated the feasibility of a Somatic Cell Count Sensor for the Dairy Industry under a USDA SBIR Phase I grant.  Somatic Cell Counts are one potential method of detecting mastitis in dairy herd.  The feasibility of a threshold type sensor was demonstrated during the Phase I work.  However, further work is required to utilize the sensor for quantitative somatic cell counts.
