Turbine Blade Emissivity Sensor

En'Urga Inc. evaluated the feasibility of a Turbine Blade Emissivity Sensor for the power industry under a DOE SBIR Phase I grant.  The emissivity of turbine blades is a indicator of potential failure of thermal barrier coatings applied on the blades.  The feasibility of obtaining the emissivity of the turbine blade in real time was demonstrated during the Phase I work.
